NVIDIA Hopper in Full Production

NVIDIA announced that the NVIDIA H100 Tensor Core GPU is in full production, with global tech partners planning in October to roll out the first wave of products and services based on the ground-breaking NVIDIA Hopper™ architecture.

Unveiled in April, H100 is built with 80 billion transistors and benefits from a range of technology breakthroughs. Among them are the powerful new Transformer Engine and an NVIDIA NVLink® interconnect to accelerate the largest AI models, like advanced recommender systems and large language models, and to drive innovations in such fields as conversational AI and drug discovery.

"Hopper is the new engine of AI factories, processing and refining mountains of data to train models with trillions of parameters that are used to drive advances in language-based AI, robotics, healthcare and life sciences," said Jensen Huang, founder and CEO of NVIDIA. "Hopper's Transformer Engine boosts performance up to an order of magnitude, putting large-scale AI and HPC within reach of companies and researchers."

In addition to Hopper's architecture and Transformer Engine, several other key innovations power the H100 GPU to deliver the next massive leap in NVIDIA's accelerated compute data center platform, including second-generation Multi-Instance GPU, confidential computing, fourth-generation NVIDIA NVLink and DPX Instructions.

A five-year license for the NVIDIA AI Enterprise software suite is now included with H100 for mainstream servers. This optimizes the development and deployment of AI workflows and ensures organizations have access to the AI frameworks and tools needed to build AI chatbots, recommendation engines, vision AI and more.

Global Rollout of Hopper

H100 enables companies to slash costs for deploying AI, delivering the same AI performance with 3.5x more energy efficiency and 3x lower total cost of ownership, while using 5x fewer server nodes over the previous generation.

For customers who want to immediately try the new technology, NVIDIA announced that H100 on Dell PowerEdge servers is now available on NVIDIA LaunchPad, which provides free hands-on labs, giving companies access to the latest hardware and NVIDIA AI software.

Customers can also begin ordering NVIDIA DGX™ H100 systems, which include eight H100 GPUs and deliver 32 petaflops of performance at FP8 precision. NVIDIA Base Command™ and NVIDIA AI Enterprise software power every DGX system, enabling deployments from a single node to an NVIDIA DGX SuperPOD™ supporting advanced AI development of large language models and other massive workloads.

H100-powered systems from the world's leading computer makers are expected to ship in the coming weeks, with over 50 server models in the market by the end of the year and dozens more in the first half of 2023. Partners building systems include Atos, Cisco, Dell Technologies, Fujitsu, GIGABYTE, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, Lenovo and Supermicro.

Additionally, some of the world's leading higher education and research institutions will be using H100 to power their next-generation supercomputers. Among them are the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, Los Alamos National Lab, Swiss National Supercomputing Centre (CSCS), Texas Advanced Computing Center and the University of Tsukuba.

H100 Coming to the Cloud

Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Microsoft Azure and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure will be among the first to deploy H100-based instances in the cloud starting next year.

NVIDIA Software Support

The advanced Transformer Engine technology of H100 enables enterprises to quickly develop large language models with a higher level of accuracy. As these models continue to grow in scale, so does the complexity, sometimes requiring months to train.

To tackle this, some of the world's leading large language model and deep learning frameworks are being optimized on H100, including NVIDIA NeMo Megatron, Microsoft DeepSpeed, Google JAX, PyTorch, TensorFlow and XLA. These frameworks combined with Hopper architecture will significantly speed up AI performance to help train large language models within days or hours.

DHL and NYU Stern School of Business have published the new DHL Trade Growth Atlas, which maps the most important trends and prospects of global trade in goods. The report covers 173 countries, providing valuable business intelligence for policymakers and industry leaders. Despite recent shocks and market pessimism, it shines a positive light on the resilience of global trade.

Alkem Foundation and the Mumbai Chapter of Alzheimer's & Related Disorders Society of India (ARDSI) organized an Alzheimer's awareness campaign on 25th September, 2022 at the Mumbai University Campus, Kalina. In India, nearly 1.18 million patients are affected by stroke each year of which 68-80% of the strokes are ischemic (i.e., blood clot in the brain).1,2 Stroke is a medical emergency during which the blood flow is blocked to the brain. The most important course of treatment is to remove the block in the brain as soon as possible- and must be done within 24 hours from the onset of symptoms. There are two ways to remove the block in the brain – IV thrombolysis (administering clot-dissolving medicine) and mechanical thrombectomy (physically removing the clot).

In the examination of the patient, it was found that a large amount of calcium was deposited in all three arteries of his heart and there was leakage in the mitral valve, due to which conditions like water filling in the lungs, and low BP was occurring again and again. Along with this, he also had a stroke attack which was handled by the neuro team of the hospital. Dr. Sanjeev Sharma told that Impella support was taken for angioplasty. With the help of Impella, the world's smallest artificial pump, blood was pumped into the patient's body at the rate of four liters per minute. For calcified blockages, doctors used rotablation and IVL (shockwave) techniques. After the calcium removal, the stent's correct position was ascertained by the IVUS technique. The pumping capacity of the patient's heart increased after the procedure with Impella support. Kidney function also got better with an improvement in cardiac output. After providing ICU care for some time, he was discharged from the hospital in stable condition and doing well. NAREDCO Maharashtra's HOMETHON Property Expo 2022 was exceptional in many ways. The three-day property exhibition, which was held at the Jio World Convention Centre in BKC from 30th September 2022 to 2nd October 2022, saw a stupendous response from the visitors with as many as over 45,000 quality walk-ins visiting the expo. At the expo Shri Devendra Fadnavis ji, Deputy Chief Minister of Maharashtra announced that the government has completed the process of giving approvals to the long-stalled Dharavi Redevelopment project and the tendering process required to commence the redevelopment work will be done in three months. He also explained that the Navi Mumbai Airport Influence Notified Area (NAINA) project will have a huge impact on property prices in Mumbai. Real estate development at NAINA would moderate prices around Mumbai and also give a lot of opportunity to developers to provide quality construction there, he further added.
 
In presence of the Deputy Chief Minister the NAREDCO-Knight Frank Report titled - The Grand Revival of Mumbai's Residential Market was launched. Shri Fadnavis also unveiled the cover of the latest magazine of The Guardians Real Estate Advisory titled - Open Acres on the occasion.

Exterior of the BMW M5 Competition 50 Jahre M Edition makes an immediate impression with its front look that consists of the new BMW Individual lights Shadowline that adds a dark-tinted accent to the BMW Laserlight and the L-shaped light tubes connecting towards the kidney grille in narrow streaks. The exclusive, BMW Individual paint finish in Aventurine Red lends it a striking look. Sitting proudly above the BMW Kidney Grille is the iconic 50 Jahre M Emblem. Visually distinct from the conventional BMW emblem, it signals passion for racing and for the roots of the BMW M brand. The M emblem adorns the front and rear logo as well as the wheel hub caps. Black styling details all over the exterior underline its elite status. Elekta and HealthCare Global Enterprises Limited (HCG) announce the launch of a collaborative educational facility in Mumbai. The training center will focus on providing radiation oncologists, radiotherapy technologists and medical physicists with the necessary skills and training on the latest treatment techniques and technological advancements in radiation therapy (RT).

Randhir Singh took the initiative to set up Midland Langer Service Society to start feeding people in the Midlands. The feed quickly expanded to 26 towns in the UK which currently provide 46,000 hot meals a week. MLSS was present in India throughout the Farmers Protest setting up Langar (free food) camps, educational camps, healthcare/medical camps and getting the youth and elders to bond together through sport. Sikhs make a minority in Walsall and bus drivers, or those in public facing roles who wore turbans previously were mocked and were subject to racial abuse. Today the same people would look at a turban wearing man and salute and praise how the Sikh community work together and help those less fortunate.
 
SIKHS IN SEVA - MR VIKRAMJIT SINGH SAHNEY

A self-made man with humble beginnings who has today made the entire Sikh community proud. Newly selected as Member of Parliament, Rajya Sabha, he is a Padma Shri Awardee and a Social Entrepreneur. As the President of World Punjabi organisation, he has been actively putting his efforts to unite all Punjabis across borders through multiple cultural and social events. THE SIKH LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD - SARDAR RAJINDER SINGH JI

In lockdown 2020 Rajinder Singh aka Skipping Sikh aged 74 became a worldwide hero as he started the skipping challenge which encouraged people globally to start skipping. He raised £15,000 for the NHS. His fund-raising exploits earn him an MBE from the Queen. He also received points of light award by the PM. He is an ambassador for Age UK local and one of their storytellers. He then went onto doing his first full London Marathon and raised thousands for Mencap. He is now doing the second London Marathon this year raising money for Age UK. He has always been into fitness, having run several marathons. Rajinder Singh born in India, came to the UK in the 1970's as an immigrant, worked in passenger services at Heathrow for most of his working career, he then retired and did part time work as a bus driver.
