Tata Group-owned Air India on Wednesday announced the launch of new flights connecting Mumbai with New York, Paris and Frankfurt, starting February next year.
DGCA news: In order to improve training and surveillance of Flying Training Organizations (FTOs) in the country, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) today (November 23) issued a circular for installation of CCTVs and others monitoring purposes. The DGCA circular reads that the Flying Training Organizations operate from various controlled and uncontrolled airfields. Inspection/surveillance/audit of these flying training organizations are carried out by DGCA as per Civil Aviation Requirement (CAR).
Bisleri sale news, Tata Consumer Products:  Veteran industrialist Ramesh Chauhan on Thursday said he is scouting for a buyer for his packaged water business Bisleri International and is in talks with several players, including Tata Consumer Products Ltd.

Scrapping of govt vehicles: Union minister Nitin Gadkari today (November 25) said all vehicles belonging to the Indian government that have completed 15 years will be scrapped, and a policy to that effect has been sent to states.
Benchmark Sensex and Nifty advanced further to settle at record highs for the second day in a row on Friday, helped by intense buying in index majors Reliance Industries, Wipro and Maruti. In a choppy and range-bound trade, the 30-share BSE Sensex rose by 20.96 points or 0.03 per cent to settle at 62,293.64, its fresh record closing high. During the day, it jumped 175.05 points or 0.28 per cent to 62,447.73 -- its lifetime intra-day peak.
India unemployment rate 2022: The unemployment rate, defined as percentage of unemployed persons in the labour force in the country above the age of 15 years in urban areas eased to 7.2 during the second quarter of 2022-23 from 9.8 in the year-ago period, according to data of National Statistical Office's 16th Periodic Labour Force Survey.
Co-working firm Avanta India plans to expand its portfolio to tap a rising demand for flexible workspace and will open more facilities covering around 50,000 square feet area over the next six months. Avanta India, part of the UK-based Avanta group, currently has five co-working centres, comprising 1.5 lakh square feet area and 3,000 desks, in the national capital (Nehru Place, Connaught Place, KG Marg, Saket) and Gurugram.
Amid an exercise to wind up certain verticals as part of global exercise to cut costs, Amazon on Monday announced to shut down its wholesale distribution business in India.

The Reserve Bank on Tuesday said it will launch the first pilot for retail digital rupee (e₹-R) on December 1, 2022, in which four banks including SBI and ICICI Bank will initially participate. On November 1, the RBI launched the first pilot in the digital rupee - wholesale segment. Announcing the operationalisation of the Central Bank Digital Currency – Retail (e₹-R) Pilot, the RBI said the pilot would cover select locations in closed user groups (CUG) comprising participating customers and merchants.

RBI announces launch of first pilot for retail digital rupee

The Reserve Bank on Tuesday said it will launch the first pilot for retail digital rupee (e₹-R) on December 1, 2022, in which four banks including SBI and ICICI Bank will initially participate. On November 1, the RBI launched the first pilot in the digital rupee - wholesale segment. Announcing the operationalisation of the Central Bank Digital Currency – Retail (e₹-R) Pilot, the RBI said the pilot would cover select locations in closed user groups (CUG) comprising participating customers and merchants.

Scrapping of govt vehicles: Union minister Nitin Gadkari today (November 25) said all vehicles belonging to the Indian government that have completed 15 years will be scrapped, and a policy to that effect has been sent to states.
