Crypto News:  As of February 8, the price of Bitcoin, the largest cryptocurrency by market capitalization, Bitcoin declined by 0.15% to  $23,102.48 on Thursday. Ethereum was currently trading at around $1,650.54 with a decrease of 1.05%.
Gold Rate Today: On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), gold futures opened at Rs. 57238.00 per 10 grams, an increase of  0.04%. Silver futures, on the other hand, opened at Rs.67,590.00 per kilogram, a decrease of 0.06%. Data from the central bank shows that China's gold reserves rose from 64.64 million ounces at the end of December to 65.12 million fine troy ounces at the end of January.
As many sectors around the world took a nosedive due to Covid restrictions and Russia-Ukraine war, the creator economy showed picked up pace. The size of the country's creator economy has grown to over Rs 1,000 crore and it is showing no signs of slowing down.
The market value of Google's parent company Alphabet dropped by more than $100 billion after its newly-launched AI chatbot Bard presented incorrect information in the commercial. Analysts also criticized its AI search event for lacking information on how it will respond to Microsoft's ChatGPT challenge.

According to reports, nearly 40 employees have been let go, with the employees being informed that February 28 would be their last working day. Furthermore, the reports claim that the company has promised to provide nine months of severance pay to all the 40 workers.
Yahoo layoffs 2023: Yahoo is laying off around 20 per cent of its workforce, or 1,600 employees, that will impact half of the company's ad tech business.
