Date for linking PAN-Aadhaar extended: Check new date

PAN-Aadhaar Linking: In order to provide some more time to the taxpayers, the date for linking PAN and Aadhaar has been extended to June 30, 2023, whereby persons can intimate their Aadhaar to the prescribed authority for PAN-Aadhaar linking without facing repercussions, the Income Tax department informed on Tuesday. 
Medicine price hike news: Starting in April, consumers in India will face higher prices for essential medicines, including painkillers, anti-infectives, cardiac drugs, and antibiotics. Government has allowed drug companies to increase prices in line with the change in the annual Wholesale Price Index (WPI). The National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority (NPPA), the drug prices regulator, revealed that the annual change in WPI, as notified by the government, was 12.12% in 2022. 

India to continue wheat export ban until THIS time: FCI

India on Tuesday clarified that it will not resume the export of wheat until it feels the country is comfortable with domestic supplies. Food Corporation of India chief Ashok K Meena asserted that wheat production will not be affected due to recent rains and added the country is confident of achieving the output target.

Gold prices today: In India, both 24 and 22 carat gold prices have fallen over the past day. As of Wednesday, March 29, ten grams of 24 carat gold cost Rs 59,450, while 10 grams of 22 carat gold cost Rs 54,500.

The Centre has asked IAS, IPS and IFS officers to intimate it in case the total transactions in stock, share or other investments exceed their six months' basic pay during a calendar year, according to a latest order by the personnel ministry. This intimation is in addition to similar information that needs to be shared by them under Rule 16 (4) of AIS or All India Services (Conduct) Rules, 1968. These rules are applicable to the members of three All India Services -- Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and Indian Forest Service (IFS).
RBI Monetary Policy Meeting: Various economists have suggested that the Reserve Bank of India's (RBI) monetary policy committee (MPC) may increase the repo rate by 25 basis points (bps) during the April meeting in order to combat rising inflation. The MPC is scheduled to convene between April 3-6.
Hyderabad-based construction company SVC and Lahari has launched a greenfield project, called Urban Blossom, in industrial town of Faridabad in Haryana as a part of its expansion spree. According to a media release by the company, the new project is located in Faridabad.
