During the day, the index fell 274.29 points or 0.45 per cent to 59,452.72.

The monthly passenger growth was also 21.41 per cent. During the same period, domestic airlines carried 375.04 lakh passengers between January-March 2023, as against 247.23 lakh in the same period last year.
