Business news: A significant price reduction in subscription tiers in India has helped Netflix grow engagement in the country by nearly 30 per cent (year on year) in the first quarter of 2023, the streaming giant has announced. During the same period, domestic airlines carried 375.04 lakh passengers between January-March 2023, as against 247.23 lakh in the same period last year.
Air India-Vistara merger: In order to complete the deal to merge its full-service carriers Vistara and Air India, Tata Group has sought approval from the fair-trade regulator Competition Commission of India (CCI).
