New Delhi: Shares of Tata Technologies, a subsidiary of Tata Motors, made a stellar stock market debut on Thursday. The stock was listed at a blockbuster premium of 140 per cent over its IPO price band. The stock started trading at Rs 1,200 on NSE and Rs 1,199.95 on BSE, against the issue of Rs 500. The shares were listed on BSE with a jump of 139.99 per cent from the IPO price. It further zoomed 180 per cent to Rs 1,400.
The government annually spends over Rs 6.5 lakh crore for the agriculture sector and farmers. Apart from providing incentives for farmers and putting in place policies to boost overall productivity, the government, on its part, has taken several initiatives to address the challenges of logistics in the agricultural sector. 
Stock markets update: Equity benchmark indices opened higher in early trade on Friday amid positive global cues. In the early trade, the 30-share BSE Sensex climbed 308.52 points to 67,296.96. Meanwhile, the Nifty was also up by 96.1 points to 20,229.25 points, reaching an all-time fresh high. 
LPG price hike: Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) have increased the prices of commercial LPG cylinders by Rs 21 per cylinder in various locations across the country. The hike will come into effect from today (December 1). The hike in the cost of commercial gas cylinders will particularly impact the restaurant and food business, potentially affecting the expenses of individuals dining out.
The Reserve Bank of India on Friday stated that 97.26 per cent of the Rs 2,000 banknotes have been returned to the baking system. It further said the Rs 2,000 notes, which were in circulation till May 19 this year, continue to be legal tender. 
Bank holidays in December: The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has released the list of bank holidays in December. As per the RBI's holiday list, banks across the country will be closed for a total of 18 days this month. 
Goods and Services Tax (GST) collections have jumped 15 per cent to over Rs 1.67 lakh crore in November, the Finance Ministry informed on Friday. GST mop-up was over Rs 1.45 lakh crore in November 2022.
