Automobile exports from India declined 5.5 per cent in FY24 due to the monetary crisis in various overseas markets, according to the latest data shared by industry body SIAM. Overall exports stood at 45,00,492 units in the last fiscal compared to 47,61,299 units in FY23.

The International Monetary Fund (IMF) on Tuesday raised India's growth forecast to 6.8 per cent, up from its previous estimate of 6.5 per cent in January this year. The revision is attributed to strong domestic demand and a growing working-age population. India maintains its position as the world's fastest-growing economy, surpassing China's growth projection of 4.6 per cent for the same period.

New Delhi: One97 Communications Limited (OCL), which owns the brand Paytm, has initiated the migration process of its customers to Payment System Provider (PSP) banks Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, SBI and Yes Bank, the company said in a statement on Wednesday. The migration process was initiated after receiving the nod from the National Payment Corporation of India (NPCI).
In an unusual incident, several passengers travelling with SpiceJet encountered difficulties at Bagdogra airport in West Bengal when they discovered that their luggage had been inadvertently left behind in Delhi. Following this, SpiceJet assured passengers that the offloaded baggage would be promptly connected to subsequent flights and expressed regret for any inconvenience caused.
New Delhi: Billionaire Gautam Adani and his family have infused an additional Rs 8,339 crore in Ambuja Cements, raising its stake in the company to 70.3 per cent, the company said in a statement. The Adani family previously invested Rs 5,000 crore in the company on October 18, 2022, and Rs 6,661 crore on March 28, 2024. With the latest investment, it has completed Rs 20,000 crore planned infusion.
