Income Tax: The income tax department has extended the due date for filing tax audit report for fiscal 2021-22 by 7 days till October 7.
GST collections remained above Rs 1.40 lakh crore for the seventh month in a row at Rs 1.47 lakh crore in September, a 26 percent increase over last year, reflecting buoyancy in tax collection and stability of the GST portal, the finance ministry said on Saturday.
